The increasing proportion of renewable energy in electricity production leads to fluctuations in energy generation caused by weather or depending on the time of the day. Excess electricity can be temporarily stored in accumulators and later retrieved as needed.
First, a consumption analysis is created to determine the daily electricity need. These data are used to produce a power generation and consumption delta, which can be cushioned with the help of a battery accumulator.
The battery accumulator and power generation systems, such as PV and CHP plants, are analysed from an economic perspective. The results are then integrated into a decision-making tool in order to offer an economically viable version of the battery accumulator.
