Local heating network | Winterrieden
The network planning for the Winterried local heating network as well as the planning of the energy center was carried out by e-con AG, the execution itself by Alois Müller GmbH. The well-insulated pipeline network leads from the heating center on the property of the Ruef family, operators of the heating network, to 62 other households.
The network is fed with biogas waste heat and heat generated by burning wood chips from the community forest. Households connected to the network thus save on the cost of their own heating system and its maintenance, and can rely on a 100 percent supply of renewable energy.
