The European headquarters of a Canadian company called CSA Group is being built in Plattling.Four buildings with a total area of approximately 12,300 square metres are being built on the plot of land covering 24,600 square metres: one administrative building, two testing buildings and one power station.
As general contractor, Alois Müller GmbH is handling all the building services engineering. In addition to heat, ventilation, plumbing and refrigeration technology, this includes all electrical work as well as the measurement, control and regulation technology.
Furthermore, the planning service, that is, the resource-conserving and cost-efficient energy concept, is also “made by Alois Müller”. Some of the focus here is on heat generation using a groundwater heat pump and refrigeration using a well.
The CSA Group is one of the world’s largest independent providers of safety and environmental certifications. It tests prototypes of products ranging from insulin pumps to combine harvesters before the products are launched on the market. The CSA Group has branches and test labs in North America, Europe and Asia.
